50/50 Lotto

General Information Regarding the 50/50 Lotto

  • The lotto is a weekly fundraiser for the school.
  • 50% of the money that is raised goes towards prizes, while the other 50% goes towards buying resources and equipment for the school.
  • The lotto draw takes place every Friday in one of the classrooms.
  • Each lotto booklet contains 12 tickets. Each ticket costs €2 but if you sell the first 10 tickets, the last 2 are free.
  • Name, Address and Phone Number should be written on ticket to insure that the person is contactable if he/she wins the main or seller prize.
  • Lotto booklets will be sent home once every seven weeks. Families with more than one child in the school, will only receive a booklet once every seven weeks.
The school has been broken into seven groups.
  1. Group 1 = Paula’s Class and half of Paul’s Class
  2. Group 2 = Karl’s Class and half of Paul’s Class
  3. Group 3 = Vivienne’s Class
  4. Group 4 = Johanne’s Class
  5. Group 5 = Joe’s Class
  6. Group 6 = Deirdre’s Class and Fiona’s Class
  7. Group 7 = Aoife’s Class

Lotto Draw 18th of November 2011 (Lotto booklets given to Groups 3 & 4)

The draw took place in the School Basketball Court at 8:30 a.m.

Total Money Raised = €540

Main Prize = €200

Seller Prize = €50

Towards the School = €290

The draw took place in Karl’s Class at 11:30 a.m.

Total Money Raised = €350

Main Prize = €140

Seller Prize = €35

Towards the School = €175

Lotto Draw 14th of October 2011 (Lotto booklets given to Group 1)

The draw took place in Paula’s Class at 1 p.m.

Total Money Raised = €250

Main Prize = €100

Seller Prize = €25
